The Surrey Board of Trade, with the Canada Asia Business Network, hosted a business delegation from Surrey's Friendship city, Ningbo, China on Friday September 5, 2008.
Arvinder Bubber, former Chair of the Premier's Asia Pacific Trade Council, led the discussion, as representatives from the City of Surrey, Port Metro Vancouver, Kwantlen Polytechnic University, Fraser Surrey Docks, Lantrax Logistics and several local businesses briefed the delegation and answered questions about the advantages Surrey offers in terms of international trade.
With the era of globalization upon us, this was a great opportunity to establish and firm up links with business in China. Our thanks to the Ningbo delegation for visitng Surrey.
